Final paper to be completed by May 2009.Additional Information:
The gist of the Cross-cultural HCI curriculum centers around the idea of "universal" usability.
The basis for the curriculum is the IEEE/ACM Computing Curricula 2001: Computer Science. The Final Report (December 15, 2001). It has a section on the HCI core and elective curriculum on pages 118-121. This is for the BS degree in Computer Science.
We have developed some materials on drupal: http://www.cpathi18n.org/cms/. Once you get on the site, look for Book Pages and a Book called "Cultural Issues in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)". We have a lot of material there. Also, under Forums, you'll find two topics on Cultural HCI.
