Student Forum
Facilitator: Toby Ehrenkranz, University of Oregon
The aim of this student forum is to get a student perspective on the various issues and ideas presented in this workshop.
Pre-Beijing Workshop Assignment
Be prepared to discuss:
- By being here at the workshop you are clearly interested in internationalizing computer science education. Why? Why are other students not interested, and what would make them interested?
- This student forum is one of the last sessions of the workshop. From the earlier sessions, what ideas look really good or bad. Why?
- Are there any issues you see as a student that have not been addressed?
- Do you have any additional ideas that would be useful to the project?
Read and browse:
- The CPATH i18n proposal in order to have a good background going in to the workshop. (Students should have received this in an email. If you did not, please contact Toby Ehrenkranz.)
Beijing workshop goals
- Provide a student perspective on existing issues and ideas.
- Document additional issues or ideas that are important to students.
